Scene Management

Menu path: PC → Mobile Management → Scene Management

This page covers the PC interface delivered with the update to backend tkl-main 2.00.073. Scenes organize device bindings and support querying, creation, editing, deletion, and binding counts. The new interface provides Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English.

Find, Create, and Edit Scenes

  1. Open Mobile Management → Scene Management and use the query controls to find a scene.
  2. Click Add, fill in the form, and save to create a scene.
  3. Select Edit on an existing scene, change its details, and save.
  4. Check scenes and binding counts in the list. A binding count indicates associations, not the number of online devices.

Bind Devices

  1. Find the target scene and open its device-binding operation.
  2. Select a thing model first, then select devices from the paginated list for that model.
  3. Check device EUIs and the thing model, select the required devices, and submit the batch.
  4. Check the bound-device list and binding count. Repeat for devices associated with other thing models.

A binding is identified by scene + EUI + thing model. The backend isolates tenants, validates device and thing-model ownership, and prevents duplicate bindings. If binding fails, check the current tenant, device/model ownership, and whether that binding already exists.

Unbind Devices and Delete Scenes

  • To unbind devices, select entries in the scene's bound-device list, perform batch unbinding, and check the list and binding count.
  • To delete a scene, confirm it is no longer needed, delete it from the list, and check the result.

Upgrade from Earlier Versions

Recreate legacy scenes

When 2.00.072 first migrates the old structure, it clears legacy scenes and bindings and drops the scene_dashboard table. It does not delete devices, thing models, or telemetry. Back up the database and record scene/device associations before upgrading, then recreate scenes and bindings using the new workflow.

The scene dashboards and device-addition steps in the earlier APP manual have not been verified against this update. Related mobile repositories were outside the update; earlier screenshots should not be treated as acceptance evidence for the new version.
