23116 Younio LoRaWAN Valve Water Meter
The Younio meter is a native LoRaWAN Class A device that reports water consumption, valve, battery and device status without an EdgeBus collector. Its PUBLIC template is named “甬岭 LoRaWAN 阀控水表”.
Onboarding
Register the actual device identifiers and keys with the network server, match the frequency region, and create a device using this template. Check application uplink port 10. The parser supports single active reports, not fragmented extensions. Frames use C1/D1 delimiters and an additive checksum. Do not apply this parser to another manufacturer's meter protocol.
Measurements and valve control
Inspect total, forward, reverse and instantaneous flow, valve state and battery voltage. Invalid instantaneous flow or temperature is omitted rather than replaced with zero. Valve states include none/open/closed/fault; protocol status flags cover conditions such as low voltage, leakage, burst pipe and empty pipe.
Use the separate open-valve and close-valve RPCs. Class A downlinks wait for a device receive window. Submission does not prove valve movement: wait for a new valve-state report and compare it with the physical valve. A template interval default does not prove the meter applied that interval; observe actual reports. Third-party forwarding and platform alarm policies require separate configuration.
