LWL02 LoRaWAN Water Leak Sensor
LWL02 is a native LoRaWAN Class A sensor powered by two AAA batteries. It detects water between its probes and reports leak state, event count and last leak duration. Product information and the photograph are from the official Dragino manual.
Installation and onboarding
Place the probes where water should be detected. The main body is not waterproof; keep it dry. Register the actual network credentials, check the frequency region and select the LWL02 template. The default upload interval is 86400 seconds and downlink port is 2. Class A delivery uses receive windows following uplinks.
Data and configuration
Inspect battery, state, event count and last duration. Each settings RPC selects one operation: upload interval, confirmed uplinks, event uplinks or ADR/DR. Disabling event uplinks means a leak transition can no longer be assumed to transmit immediately. The maintenance RPC supports explicit reset or cumulative-count clearing, without automatic retries.
Alarms and acceptance
The template links the water-leak trigger. Check binding, an actual event report, alarm creation and recovery separately. Notification groups and channels require additional setup. The parameter model's rpc_hook_status does not establish that all settings were applied. Verify fresh reports, observed intervals and physical events; queueing is not completion.
